Hi

In a zEC12 with z/OS V1R13, I'm creating a new LUGROUP in a new TN3270 Server.

a) I have created a new LUGroup with this syntax:
LUGROUP NEW QW00001A..QW99999V..FFNNBBBA
LUMAP NEW NET10 SPECIFIC

a.1) When a LU of Personal Communications that uses the name 'QW78K7ZF' tries
to connect to this new TN3270 Server, the TN3270 Server rejects this connection
(directly it makes a DROP to the LU. The old Telnet Server is stopped).

b) However, if I use a LUGROUP specific for the same LU using this syntax:
LUGROUP OLD QW78K7ZD..QW78K7ZJ
LUMAP OLD NET10 SPECIFIC

b.1) The LU (QW78K7ZF) connects without problem in the new TN3270 Server.

c) The IPGROUP is the same in both cases (NEW and OLD):
IPGROUP NET10 255.0.0.0:10.0.0.0 ENDIPGROUP

I think that the problem could be in the range (QW00001A..QW99999V) or in the
patterns/wildcards used (FFNNBBBA) or both, in fact I'm not sure (maybe bad
definition or similar but I don't get find/see the problem).

Please, all ideas to find a possible solution because the LU (QW78K7ZF) cannot
connect when the 'LUGROUP NEW' is activated, will be welcomes.

Thank you in advance.

Regards, Diego
