I looked at the original question and perhaps both vendors (and also printer vendors) should be asked. Ask Xerox if they *accept* ASCII printouts from z/OS. Ask IBM if such printouts can be send ASCII data from z/OS to those and other similar printers. Perhaps IBM has such products. Ask Levi Ray and Shoup about VPS, VMCF and DRS about such ASCII support - I know they can do it. (handling ASCII) Of course it depends on your TCP/IP setup in the first place.
