Yep. We do. Our usually empty library at the top of linklist, just in
case...A DB2 dataset... has the volser, because it resides in a usercat.

SYSLIB LINKLIB(SYS1.PDP.&SYSNAME..FIXLIB)

Subject: Using symbolics in Linklist dsnames

I have never used SYMDEF symbolics in LINKLIST dataset names before. And it is
not exactly a common topic here, at least not with simple google search.

If I read the manual correctly, it seems to say that it supports its usage.

Before I jump off the deep end, my question here is "has anyone already done
this?" :)

Bob
