While we are at it - SMF30_Highest_Task_CPU_Program has the program name from the task that reported the largest CPU time percentage for the step (in 30-4, if I understand the manual correctly).

Do anyone have a program that provides this type of information. I don’t have any SMF reporting products. We are z/OS v1r13. Others gave excellent replies including DAF and other freebies. But, if your program was called by another program, you're probably out of luck. SMF type 30 has these useful fields amongst a lot of other fields: SMF30JBN (Job name) SMF30PGM (Program name) SMF30STM (Step name) Groete / Greetings Elardus Engelbrecht ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN Unless stated otherwise above: IBM United Kingdom Limited - Registered in England and Wales with number 741598.
