You can issue any CICS CEMT command from the console as from a regular 3270 terminal. Just define the console id to CICS and make sure that both the CICS APPLID and the USERID issuing the CEMT commands have RACF Access to the console (there is a RACF CONSOLE class that it has to be defined to). Also, the CEKL command allows the display and cancelling of tasks without having to sign on to CICS or defining any CONSOLE to CICS, so long as the USERID issuing the CEKL command has access to use the system or subsystem console.
