As I have said repeatedly, The tools that are used to support z/OS should be as available as the systems they support (99.9999% availability). The recent outage taken to "move the applications" and make them 99.9999% avail used up about 2000 years worth of outages at that availability.
Now that it is on the 99.9999% available hardware, in the first week of operation is has consumed an additional 520 years worth of outages (as of 09:40am CST 10/24/2014).
