I believe your ERRET routine is not being driven because of the invalid ASCB specification.
When you use the ASCB parameter with ERRET, it will only be used when the cross-memory POST fails in the address space identified by the ASCB. I would imagine that if the ASCB is invalid, the POST service is unable to establish the correct recovery environment and it cannot drive your ERRET.
