Not to mention smart phones and phablets. Certainly network security and topology come into play. The Internet was started 'cause folks were curious about coffee pot. Guess eventually there will be a vulnerability scanner. Some of the worms are quite clever and may do nothing except sit there and wait for the call to attack or replicate to rest of network.
