This question is likely to get a better answer on the IBMVM mailing list. If you do repost it there, I would recommend being more specific about just what you want to migrate to FBA. (Minidisks only, that plus SPOOL, etc.) Also, what version(s) of z/VM you're running, whether you are using SSI or not, etc. My non-expert guess is that you might be better off re-installing z/VM (as a second-level guest initially) instead of trying to do any sort of migration.
