Hey, folx. n00b with InfoPrint/IP PrintWay so bring the salt buckets along.
I'm also digested daily so there will be a response delay for messages to the
list. [4] Plz bear with me...
I'm trying to capture the actual postScript contents sent, via LPR, to a Xerox
printer that has Xerox Std Acct (XSA) enabled. We use {Begin, End} Dataset
exits modeled on *FBD1/*FED1 to insert the %%XRXbegin & %%XRXend information
which works for other Xerox models (so far). Now, I'm encountering error
messages [1] when using the same exits to a Xerox ColorQube 9202. [2] However,
these same error pages don't bother to indicate the offending postScript or
'print function'.
Anyone else encountered/fixed this problem before? Tks for any pointers to
'fine' manuals. [3]
[1] "The job was deleted because the client requested a printing function that
is not available on this system." [re-typed by hand]
[2] First one in the PIDU inventory with Xerox Standard Account (XSA) enabled.
[3] The 9202 System Admin Guide has not been helpful and the PDL reference
only provides the postScript required. I'm slogging through the InfoPrint
manual and think it might be related to 'Tracing'.
[4] If you cc: me when responding to the list, I'll get the message directly.
Tks again.
