Thank you for all of your suggestions. I tried the SE LIST command from a TSO
READY prompt and I got the same message I got when I tried SE 1,DELETE
("IKJ56700A ENTER MESSAGE TEXT ENCLOSED IN APOSTROPHES -"). I then tried
issuing the SE LIST as a console command from SDSF. This work so I next tried
the SE 1,DELETE command as a console command. That worked also! Problem
solved!
