ISTR there was a recent enhancement to (OMVS?/RACF?) to allow for SAF 
monitoring of USS file systems.
I believe this was at the file/directory level.
 No sure but probably circa z/OS 1.12 or later.

I see that it is possible to restrict access to an entire zFS filesystem with 
RACF.

Is it possible to monitor access to a group or directory of zFS files?
Something like ADDDSD /u/foo/bar/** AUDIT(SUCCESS,...)... ?
