and he may well be right, even though he admits that he is an excellent diagnostician. Emphasis does, however, need to be placed on the pronoun 'someone'. If this code had been available not just to someone but to all of us, quite rapid progress might well have been made with a problem perceived to be important to the community. I will suppress the old-codger war stories; but in the days of MVT, i.e., before OCO, this did happen on a number of occasions.
