This part of Mike's question is important. As a general statement, and
according to an IBM redbook on OSA-ICC, the chosen emulator must faithfully
support the following TN3270E (RFC 2355) functions:

- the ability to request a specific LU or pool name;
- access to the SNA bind information;
- handling of SNA positive and negative responses;
- universal support for the 3270 ATTN and SYSREQ keys;
- support for emulation of 328x class printers.

These capabilities have been around for many years now, so there are
probably a number of terminal emulation software products that properly
implement these features. Nonetheless it'd be nice if there's specific
OSA-ICC interoperability testing and mention of that testing in the
product's documentation.
