A quick follow-up. The first mainframe users group meeting here in many
years was a rousing success. We filled a good sized conference room at Pac
Life with dozens folks from a variety of companies around Southern
California. What impressed many of us was the number of 'kids' who turned
out. I didn't get a chance to find out what shops they represented, but
their presence was truly heart warming. Many thanks to IBM and to Pac Life
for hosting this auspicious event.

For an even larger gathering in this area, please mark your calendars for
SHARE in Anaheim March 10 - 14. Check out the agenda--available this
week--at SHARE.org .
