A quick follow-up. The first mainframe users group meeting here in many years was a rousing success. We filled a good sized conference room at Pac Life with dozens folks from a variety of companies around Southern California. What impressed many of us was the number of 'kids' who turned out. I didn't get a chance to find out what shops they represented, but their presence was truly heart warming. Many thanks to IBM and to Pac Life for hosting this auspicious event.
