Hi to all, A colleague in the z/OS TCP/IP Team asked me to post on his behalf.
He is getting this error message on OSA (TCP/IP Server) (program IOAXTSRV in SYS1.SIOALMOD as used from IOA.SIOASAMP(IOASRV)) First these are shown: request = BIND and then several EZY383xI messages. (socket traces) IOAXTSRV had problem on TCP/IP 'bind' call <-- this is the exact wording. followed by request = CLOSE then this IOAXTSRV could not start. TCP/IP may not be started. and finally request = HDelete. The STC stops immediately with RC= 00. Environment - sandbox on zEC12. z/OS v1.12. IOAXTSRV version 3.12N - TCP/IP Remote command execution IOAXTSRV. Port for this server is: 2000 Same OSA Server were running fine previously on sandbox on a 2094 machine. We have reviewed RACF settings, TCP/IP stack settings, OSA settings, parmlib settings, APF status of loadlibs, etc. Possible APARS were researched. Nothing conclusive were found at all. OSA SUPPORT FACILITY (program IOAMAIN) is running fine. No problem were found here. One major change was done when we moved the sandbox LPAR (containing that OSA Server) from 2094 to zEC12 - TCP/IP Home address changed. Anyone having experienced this ? Otherwise we'll have to open a PMR for this. Many thanks in advance.
