Actually we have a sample script that we distribute with our automation products that does exactly that, you can schedule the Flashcopy (i.e. for D.R. purposes or just plain backups) and the entire FC/backup for a specific TOD, or you can have it happen based on some "event" where that event can be a time, console message, or something else (as long as we can see it, you can base your task on it).
