Hello, We have file aid ims and file aid mvs. Currently I have created a large pds of all our dbds for xref processing.. in order to get the description to display on the member list you have to go into each member and type save... that takes the first line IXPFDCUSTOMER DATABASE ........07.07.00 and puts it into the user field .. which is then displayed on the member list across from the dbd name ..
the best way would be for file aid to do this as a batch process .. but they don't seem to have one.. does anyone know how to use ISPF lm services to do this??? or file aid services ?
