Probably due to corporate culture and management issues. I can see
such a position being desirable in a mythological shop where the staff
has made security a priority and welcomes assistance from a dedicated
security group. At a more likely shop where the staff views security
as a bureaucratic burden dumped on them, such a position would carry
more hostility and stress than most would care for.

We don't care. We don't have to care, we're Congress.
