Sorry if I wasn't clear enough in my OP. I think there was once a list that indicated, for example, that *MASTER* was always ASID 1, PCAUTH was always ASID 2, etc. I was asking whether I was correct in that recollection.

Knowing that a given system address space will always have a certain ASID is a stronger assertion than empirically observing that it appears to always have a certain ASID.
