IDz is IBM Developer for z/OS, previously RDz. it includes LPEX.

ISPF has some information in the directory entry, but that's not what I'm
concerned with. I'm concerned with columns 73-80.

Is Dz an editor?  Cite?  Google finds me mostly "Dayz".

Does ISPF depend om user information in the directory?
Might  this be reflected in extended attributes?
If I delete every line with the most recent change level,
does ISPF remember and increment the change level?
If a programmer modifies some but not all related
members do they get the same change level?
Does FTP, TRANSMIT, or IND$FILE preserve the
change level?
Does ISPF manage change level for UNIX files?
