SDWAMODN has whatever the recovery routine chose to put in it. The load module associated with the abend is not necessarily the module in control at the time of the abend. For example, the abend could have been issued by a service invoked by the load module identified in SDWAMODN.
SDWANAME has what RTM can figure out as the load module name based on the abend address (such as from CDEs and LPDEs). And if RTM cannot figure it out, the field is zeroes. Only in-storage data can be used by RTM. CSECT information is not in-storage. It is part of the load module / program object information but not part of the executable. Therefore CSECT information cannot be placed into the SDWA by the system in general.
