Dave, all,

**--> I'm now using the public version of Cursor AI - at least it makes
a pretty good job of logical reasoning. Which helps when analyzing code.
It even has a limited understanding of HLASM.
From the looks of it, we'll do less programming over the
coming years and our jobs will likely evolve into "code management"
using GenAI-based toolsets that will remove lots of relatively simple
chores from our daily routines.
I'm sure the most rewarding part of the work: designing,
planning, architecting, will remain there because those aspects of
programming require an understanding of the real world, not just the
code world.

Kind regards & Happy programming!
Abe
