SYSLOG is automatically captured as a JES2 print file. See MVS command W (e.g. 
W L to send syslog to sysout class L. Some shops use a wtr task to capture 
syslog from that class and write it to tape. Others, simply delete it at some 
point in time. A simple IEBGENER can be used to print the wtr file. Or you can 
simply start a printer with the syslog output class specified in the w command.
