All,
My daughter's sister-in-law graduated with a programing degree in May of
last year (2024). She has been working for a company that was training
her in z/OS Cobol (which was not taught in her school), but a recent
marriage and husband's new job has taken her to Las Vegas, where she is
now looking for a position where she can stay in the Cobol field.
As you can expect, she can't relocate. If there are any shops in the
area utilizing z/OS that she could apply to, please let me know their
names so I can pass the information to her.
I would hate to see someone this young that is interested in Cobol have
to go back to some other platform.
