I suppose what I'm looking for is something similar to the SDWALSV field in an ESTAE recovery routine, but something I can programmatically invoke myself instead of the recovery routine.
So I can say "set the linkage-stack to level N" and then branch (where N is less than the current level.) The 'error' here is not a hardware-detected situation, but simply a programming error that I'd like to nicely handle. Is there a way to do that???
