I have a client that is migrating from VSE to z/OS. We want to used Shared DASD to migrate the materials to be converet using shared DASD. IIRC and going way back to MVS times I believe it was able to setup the shared device to be READ-ONLY on the MVS side. Is this possible to to such today. While I have used SHARED DASD on several projects making the device READ-ONLY was never a requirement. I can probably have RACF control it but ... . TIA for any help with this
