Hi, IMS has its own address space which is called ODBM or IMS Open Database. It has an IMS Universal JDBC Driver. It either requires the IMS Catalog for Metadata or you have to use IMS Explorer to create the Metadata (by importing DBD, PSB and possibly copybook sources).
DVM and Infosphere Classic Federation Server for z/OS can also provide JDBC access to IMS data and tools to create the metadata mapping. Denis.
