I’m hosting a 60 minute Webcast at 11:00 AM Singapore Time (03:00 UTC) on Friday, April 25, 2025, called “Protecting z/OS with Validated Boot and Linux with Secure Boot.” Dave Surman, an IBM Distinguished Engineer in z/OS operating system development, is the main speaker and presenter. If you’d like to learn more about the technical aspects of these important security technologies — the whys and the hows — please join us if able. We’ll take as many questions as time allows, and we’re not opposed to follow-up questions.
This Webcast time probably works best for time zones spanning the U.S. West Coast (8 PM in California on Thursday) to India (8:30 AM Friday). But if you want to wake up early in Germany, for example, you can boot us up too. The super simple registration form is available here: https://forms.office.com/r/W5QDhfVxfL I think the usual practice is that those who sign up get a post-event e-mail with access to a recording. But don’t hold me to it. :-) ————— Timothy Sipples Senior Architect Digital Assets, Industry Solutions, and Cybersecurity IBM Z/LinuxONE, Asia-Pacific sipp...@sg.ibm.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to lists...@listserv.ua.edu with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
