My problem isn't that google gives me a URL for an older version, it's that
google doesn't give me a URL for any version but does give me URLs that have
nothing to do with what I'm searching for.

For z/OS and z/VM, the URLs seem to be stable, and I can navigate from a
release-specific page to the main page. But what I'm looking for are hardware
manuals that I couldn't find on bitsavers.

IBM should remove the version number from the URL's for the latest doc.
Then maybe Google will get the hint and quit sending me to old versions,
unless I'm specifically looking for those.

https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/zos/ < current
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/zos/2.5.0 < old
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/zos/2.4.0 < older

Then when the new version arrives:

https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/zos/ < current
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/zos/3.1.0 < old
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/zos/2.5.0 < older
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/zos/2.4.0 < older
