Thank you all for the replies. I didn't know until after I posted that we 2 LPARs on z/OS 2.2 on our existing z16. They have been there for almost a year now without any issues. We are going to upgrade the z/OS 2.1 systems before they are migrated to the new z16 later this year. And hope to also upgrade the 2.2 systems. And maintenance for some of the 2.3 & 2.4 systems. Our 2.5 & 3.1 already have the z16 FIXCAT maintenance.
