Actually it is still possible for virtual machines under z/VM. And it is not s/360, but current z machine.
Of course if you want real cards I think it is still feasible to connect card reader to Bus & Tag cable, then to ESCON converter then to Opticatech FICON converter then to CPC. And (I haven't checked it) such card device is still existent in HCD dialogs.
