What is referred to as "Artificial Intelligence" is actually better described by the term "automated plagiarism". All it's capable of is collecting/rehashing/reformulating/regurgitating information that has been collected from "all over".
If it provides you an answer to something, it's because somewhere/sometime a human originally provided the information that ended up being fed to the AI engine - and that information may or may not be correct depending on the original source. Roll the dice and take your chances - just like what has been transpiring on internet forums and mailing lists (like this one) for a long time. -----Original Message----- From: IBM Mainframe Discussion List <IBM-MAIN@LISTSERV.UA.EDU> On Behalf Of Lindy Mayfield Sent: Wednesday, August 7, 2024 11:36 AM To: IBM-MAIN@LISTSERV.UA.EDU Subject: Re: Couple of questions about job id ChatGpt was by the way wrong. There is no ASCBTYP field in the ASCB with a hex value that says STC, TSU, JOB, etc. A little googling shows from where it got that confusion. This is still impressive the answer AI gave. At least to me. ///// By the way, still looking for what control block contains the type of job. The AI was an unintended side track. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to lists...@listserv.ua.edu with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to lists...@listserv.ua.edu with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
