Better (RFC 1738?): <https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/zos/2.4.0?topic=language-issuing-commands-isfexec>.
The TSO Rexx refe. teems with cases where the writer fails to understand or misleads the reader about the differences among parsing by Rexx, parsing by the TMP, , and parsing by the command processor. In many cases it would be clearer to delimit strings for REXX witn\ quotation marks and strings for TMP with apostrophes: address TSO "allocate dsn('sys1.samplib')" rather than doubling apostrophes. - gil ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to lists...@listserv.ua.edu with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
