Wow! I have not paid any attention to this space in 5 years (non-compete 
agreement!) but you are right! Splunk seems to have way backed off from their 
tight embrace of Ironstream. Believe me, at one point it was THE 
Splunk-endorsed solution. No idea what has happened in that marriage.

I was VERY involved in the space in 2010. I am pretty confident of my statement.
