I tried to use CONXLAT utility to create DBCS tables with no effect.
I used the example from the manual (z/OS Communications Server: IP
Configuration Reference):
convxlat 'tcpip.v3r2.sezadbcx(ezakjlat)' 'tcpip.v3r2.sezaxld2' (kanji
codefile
(dataset names from the manual, changed accordingly)
The command and many other DBCS-related commands do NOT work.
I tried to preallocate output dataset with LRECL=5124,RECFM=VB (and
other) parameters. It does not help.
The source is delivered with ServerPac, so it is not wrong. I also tried
other source member (almost all the commands from the manual).
The error message is EZA0640E which means syntax error.
What's wrong???
