Have you verified that compatibility PTF's are installed between z/OS 2.5 & 3.1?

Have you verified event notication (ENFSCOPE) is acceptable?

Are you sure that you will never need both JES2 MAS running on the same LPAR at 
the same time? You might want to consider ESUBSYS.
