z/OS is not that different.
Can you run it on an older IBM machine?
Say, a 9672.
Does it support 3350's? 3330's?

Yep..but which of the PC vendors , for example, write for older machines? Most 
of the products require a bigger footprint, either in memory or HDD space. Z/os 
a different story as far as I am concerned
