How about laptops?
Laptops (a category that excludes tablets) were the worst hit, marking a 34% 
Y-o-Y drop, per Canalys. Desktops suffered too — but fared slightly better, 
with a 28% decline. As vendors go, both IDC and Canalys have Apple suffering

I sure wish it wasn't so, but all the real-world evidence says it is, alas.
Asserting otherwise is wishful thinking unsupported by the evidence.

A better use of energy is looking for ways to keep the platform vibrant.
