1. z/OSMF supports REST API - so I can call it from off platform automation - and use the same techniques for all platforms they support 2. ISPF dialogs and saving state and workflow management etc have some limitations. z/OSMF fixes some of these 3. We've gone away from Silos, and now have people managing all the platforms. The old way needed a dedicated team who knew the Silo 4. One day all us old codgers wont be around; they have to worry about succession planning.
