I don't find this odd at all! I miss markup, especially for books. Trying to do consistency checks in FrameMaker or *shudder* Word is painful compared to being able to search a bunch of flat files. As is *making* the changes for consistency. Jeremy-you realize that PostScript is about as far as you can get from markup in a lot of ways, right? It's fun stuff but not what people generally mean when they say "markup".
