Hello That's true ZAAP and Java workloads can be run on ZIIP meeting the below..
The zAAP on zIIP capability is not available if z/OS is in an LPAR and zAAPs are installed on the machine. zIIP to CP ratio of no more than 1:1; the number of zIIPs cannot exceed the number of CPs. z/OS V1.11 and above, and z/OS 1.9 and 1.10 (with PTF for APAR OA27495). System parameter update - New ZZ system parameter : ZAAPZIIP=YES or NO (or ZZ=YES or NO) YES = enabled Thanks, Suresh On Thu, Apr 18, 2013 at 12:06 PM, Timothy Sipples <sipp...@sg.ibm.com>wrote: > Jon Butler writes: > >IFLs always run at full capacity based on the CEC model, e.g. zEC12 = > >1511 MIPS, z196 = 1200, z114/z01 = 782. > > zIIPs, zAAPs, ICFs, and SAPs are also whole engines.
