I don’t know if anyone has mentioned it yet, but (just in case!) the PTF for APAR OA62150 is now generally available. This PTF provides support for the z/OS Data Set File System (DSFS) on z/OS 2.5. z/OS DSFS allows arbitrary z/OS UNIX System Services programs to access z/OS sequential or partitioned data sets via mount point /dsfs. The data sets must be cataloged, and data set names are case insensitive. Serialization and security are aligned with ISPF.
For more information please consult the new sections in the IBM z/OS 2.5 documentation.
