Couldn't agree more. I perhaps wasn't clear that I was NOT suggesting this
an acceptable approach-when I have a problem and a vendor (or my own
corporate """support""" says "clear your cache and cookies" I say "No. This
is not 1995."

 

And don't get me started on the pages that give you BLANK sections in
Firefox but work in Chrome. At least fail gracefully if you're too
incompetent to make it work.
