I could enthusiastically support replacing OMVS wth a Linux if it were
coupled to Classic OS as closely as OMVS. E.g Regina "address ATTCHMVS"
and the catalogued data set collection mounted as a VFS with autoconvetsion
IBM-1047<-->UTF-8.  For:
o Liniux extensions of POSIX utilities.
o Easy porting of FOSS.

What's the merit or flaw of the FLAT file system?

Still wish EBCDIC would slowly be DUMPED.
