This message is because you're not running in a servlet container. If you download Apache Tomcat and drop the war into the WebApps directory it will work.
If you run 'jar tf gitbucket.war | grep yaml` you will see if SnakeYAML is in the archive. If not then I doubt if it's a critical component but it doesn't hurt to include it on the classpath.
