I tried to get back to a mainframe job for several years with no luck. I think the head hunter must have been paid for applicants, not hires.
My experience is several years out of date now, I think we shutdown on Z/OS 1.8 or so. At this point, I can coast to the retirement exit as a Linux admin :-) There is some fun stuff here too, my last project was Elasticsearch.
