Not that anybody likely cares, but I don't mind use of unusual words, so long as they are accurate. Would I use them? Perhaps so, perhaps no. If I am really trying to explain something to a newbie, or a non-native speaker, then I likely wouldn't. And I especially would not if a person is having a critical problem and is desperate for some help. But on a off-topic (and quite honestly basically irrelevant) thread like this, sure. I actually enjoy learning new words. Just like I like learning new computer languages, except maybe LISP <grin/>.
