Public key? Where anybody can encode with the public key, but only
the private key, kept by the sender, can decode?
That's why asymmetric cryptography was creted. Yes, site A can publish
your public key and site B can use it to encrypt some message (it can be
another key, symmetric). The message can be decrypted by site A only,
because only site A has private key.
We don't use asymmetric crypto for "everyday use", because it's very
CPU-consuming, about 1000 times more than symmetric.
BTW: SSL handshake process in general work as described above.
