I was muddling. It is always 64 bit in zArch. My point still remains: save yourself and follow-on programmers time and effort - put in the comma.

I think you're muddling the index register (always 64 bits in zArch) with the access register (always 32 bits on 370/ESA through zArch). Or perhaps it was just a typo - 32 was meant to be 64?
